Hi there!
I couldn't really find a discord or something so I'll just drop my question here. I'm really digging this game so far and was a bit overwhelmed with the 'conquest' part of the game (never played EW4). There isn't really a in game tutorial about this.
- How can you spot which countries are allies and which are enemies? does this differ per conquest mode (1798/1806)? - Do you play on untill either the allies or enemies are destroyed (all cities)? - Als is there a general game guide somwhere which explains the other basics as morale (increase/decrease etc.)?
Thanks!

So I'll try to answer as good as I can: Enemies and allies have different colours in the circle around units, while they are neutral you can see very well which countries will be in which side when they becomes active(which you can boost or slow down). Yes some countries has different sides in some conquests you will need to watch for that. Yes you play until one or another side is destroyed(taken over). I believe that for this game there's no such thing, but I'll write it and maybe post a link here

It is very easy to make beginners mistakes in this game. always compare upgrades, items and generals as some are way worse than others and you can't undo buying anything.

I suggest that you also finish some campaigns before starting conquests since the ai will have more advanced tech then you

I have found that once you get to the Russian Campaign in the French campaign, conquest 1798 is very easy.
