I just got to the mission in the Canada campaign after breezing thru the last the Canada Mission and this one is very difficult for me. All of the Canadian generals are weak and while I’m able to defeat the first one or two American Generals I almost always lose all three of my game-given generals and cant push into America. I also have Codrington please help

My suggestion is to spam militia and try and surround the generals to get their morale down, which will make this much easier. I also suggest you get a artillery general with any medals you have.

I have almost beaten it. My strategy was to buy another artillery general. Then build another siege cannon. Move the bulk of your forces to take out the calvary general. After that they will retreat and you can move to take Detroit. Once you have Detroit tske the city below it. It is important that you don't lose Ottawa. Those 3 cities give you crucial currency to defeat the last 2 generals and push back the US forces.

The western forces are priority as once one is defeated they retreat thus giving you more work. Then take Detroit and head towards the Boston Port.

Tips: Scott will be a coward and retreat after u kill the cav gen. Killing Dearborn won't trigger the retreat Dominion militia is your best friend against the 3 gens

Disclaimer: I had Murat for this mission after farming a lot for him, so this was probably much easier for me than you guys. My strategy was to kill Dearborn with Jourdan while I sent Gates and Clinton to kill Brown, and Murat to kill Scott. Meanwhile, I kept my frigate as safe as possible, letting Cochrane and the other Ship of the Line bear the brunt of the US Navy. After Dearborn was dead, I killed Brown which triggered the retreat. I used Murat to attack Scott more, and used my frigate to bombard US ships with low HP. Next turn, Scott tried to retreat, but I managed to kill him with Murat. I sent Jourdan, Clinton, Gates, some Grenadiers and a Siege Artillery to attack Detroit. My frigate was still above half health. I managed to keep it away from the US Navy when they moved north to capture the Canadian port and the Canadian city. I started to send the frigate to the unnocupied Boston port. Afterwards, I kept attacking Detroit until I was able to occupy it. I used my generals to kill nearby US troops, and my frigate got closer to the port. Next turn, I got lucky that the frigate was far enough to prevent the AI from building a corvette or any other ship to defend the port, and that the frigate was fast enough to capture the port from where it was, so I used it to capture the port which ended the mission with a 3-star. Took like 11 turns.

I just finished it in 6 turns with a bit of advanced Overlord in Eastern Europe(not completely maxed) tech, Sophia, Victoria, Raevsky and 3 free gens from American revolution. No I'm not joking, it actually happened. The key ig is to kill the arty gen behind the cav gen and kill the cav gen and Dearborn next. My allies luckily got the port for me. If you're not that lucky try 2 navy gens and another warship, hopefully that will work.
