Why is Senyavin called sai hei jerzy Wayne? Is it a Russian name? No. Most likely it is nickname from the Turkish side. Senyavin controlled the Black Sea and eastern Mediterranean. Blockaded Istanbul for more than a year before Tilzit Peace between Russia and France was signed. |
