Hi. Im stuck on this mission for more than a week which for me is unusual. I read all the strategy there is on this forum but when it comes to the last general(treville) i run out of troops and the privateers arent much help as they lack of firepower to destroy treville. I have kate , maria , kutaisov and sophia.Any advice ? I dont want the bonus just to pass this one as its getting really annoying lol

I dont want the bonus just to pass this one as its getting really annoying lol I put Kate on the frigate near St Augustine, with her you should be able to kill the enemy troops before they land. For the admirals I found that drawing them in and using the land-based generals and a liberal use of coastal forts was enough to complete the mission. I lost and reclaimed both ports during the course of the campaign. The privateers were useful sacrifices for drawing fire away from the generals, then surrounding the admirals after the balance of power had shifted in my favour. |

Passed it with 4 stars. I put kate on the fort north of the northern port and no one dared to come close to that so i could build ships there and focus only protecting one port mostly.maria and sophia on the forts near savanah and charleston and kutaisov on artillery. Also leveling cities to 5 or 6 helps with income

Almost no one will immediately think to put a gen on a fort. |
