I recently played a campaign (I think it was the D-Day one) and captured the green objective. It said that i had unlocked armor and the armor icon popped up on the screen. I thought that this meant that my general (Messe) had ranked up so I went and checked but nope. It said that i could upgrade his armor skill but it cost 640 medals and did not seem to give me any discount. Anyone knows what this does please tell me.

Before obtaining that green objective, you weren't allowed to upgrade your generals' armor skills. Now you can.

So the only tving you get is the oppurtunity to spend more medals.

Yes, but by upgrading that skill your generals get better.
