Don't want to lose medal mine Sardinia but need 2 ambulances, tents and Medkit. It's possible.
Save your data and load it on another phone which updated already.
Get 2nd healing items then save.
Load new data on the old which keep old version. There's no problem when you use old version and load data from new version.
I tried and it works. Never update until I farm enough medals to max out all my gens
