Used to do that a lot. Most didn’t care honestly. I have trouble paying attention in class. However some professors can be tools. Different professors require different approaches . Anyway, 1798 grind, not the best feeling tbh Funny at first. After your 5000th time upgrading your last general not so much. You realize it takes a pretty long time

Atleast Blucher is a beast I could do that but this method is very reliable which prompts me to attempt a non-IAP run.

As soon as I got Murat I realized that getting any IAP would be a bad idea because I would have to spend time upgrading them when they aren’t essential and are just a way of speeding the game up. Of course, if the farming wasn’t so quick and reliable, I would get them.

You unlock lots of mobility with it, as well as many other things. I did it with the 4 free generals and a partially upgraded murat, so I think you can do it as well I imagine. It wasn’t bad at all! Basically, what I am doing is not rushing to beat the entire campaign. Instead, I am speedrunning through upgrading the tech lvl. If you are diligent, it will take you under a week to get it maxed out. Once you max out your tech, the game becomes a lot more fun to play. Makes your first week a living hell, but you will thank yourself later on in the next remaining 2 months

I did this again recently, without any generals and it works as good as ever. This time, I didn’t even help my allies against Russia, militarily atleast. I upgraded Amsterdam to lvl.6 and recruited two grenadier units whom I sent to help the Danish, Spanish and French forces in the invasion of Britain. I managed to steal London and then Manchester. The British surrendered after I took Glasgow on turn 71.

Still works! 9 minutes 19 seconds 64 turns
Edit: I also tested declaring war on Sweden turn 1 vs normal joining. Declare war turn 1: 100% success, 61-65 turns Join normally: 100% success, 75-82 turns

What you need: Nothing but an up-to-date game. Check with 1798 Sardinia, if you’ve disbanded all your troops and Lannes is still coming to you, you are up-to-date. What to do the 1st and 2nd turn: Move Verhuell a bit away and take down your port, or the British will come at you for Amsterdam, don’t disband anyone. Declare war at Sardinia on the 1st turn, Sweden on the 2nd. Bribe Poland, Denmark, Prussia, Russia and Ottoman once to let them come in sooner or later. What to do afterwards: Keep bribing Prussia and Russia to let them join as late as possible. Defend your town from the British, Verhuell is the main output source. Donate Poland or Denmark some money if they are having troubles. And that’s all! Have fun farming! Did this and Denmark took London and St. Petersburg lol
