So then, which auto conquest did you experiment on that was a failure ? We all know the successful conquest auto-plays but often times you can learn more in failures than in success! In that spirit let's do a failure thread! Failures can be total or partial just post what you tried and what in your opinion was the problem. Include a case number to lessen confusion if multiple conquests are discussed at the same time. I'll start: Case 1 Apk: GP (Googleplay) Version 1.04 Country played: 1798 HRE Auto play start: turn 1. Results: Conquest won with "C" rank Sorry no screenshot,it got lost somehow. I started it with 7 generals upgraded a couple markets and turned Auto mode on in the first turn. The AI did amazingly well for a while and at one point only part of the Ottoman remained alive, the AI only had to conquer like 4 or 5 cities but somehow wouldn't finish it off. So at turn 40/50 I stop auto and give GB thousands of gold since for some odd reason they had very little. Engage auto again. 20 or 30 turns later still no win I notice most of my allies are afk from the front. Stop auto, delete far away units and buy units close to the front because I realized the AI was only attacking with 1 or 2 units while shuffling the rest between towns it owned. Engage auto back on. 20-25 turns later still no win for joo! I am starting to think the AI has a secret pact with the Ottoman and is protecting it!! At around turn 100:Got tired of waiting what should have bern done like 40 turns ago. Stop auto, finish the remaining towns manually.

I haven't autoplayed in 1806, but I imagine that the AI has a hard time comprehending that Greenland is a thing and probably won t send units until everything else is dead.

Auto play Prussia 1798 post patch: Extreme failure Placed all generals on available troops. Turned auto play on turn 3 after all generals have been placed. Hamburg and Cologne got taken after 15 turns. Took the French 5 rounds to retake it back. Held back the French for like 40 turns while HRE and Russia gets obliterated by the French allies. Brings the French to its original borders in like another 30 turns. Takes the French half the turns to be outside Berlin. Britain gets obliterated by Spain after the French takes Berlin. Last stand at round 90 in Danzig. Conclusion: Playing as the Coalition in post update is bad. Very bad.

In my auto-conquests with Netherlands 1798, just by deploying Davout and Karl at the start ussually Naples, Sweden, HRE and Prussia get killed by turn 20-25 and then all that's left are Russia and UK(I ussually finish in 60-65 turns). However, sometimes (like 10-15%) it is unlucky because British get Amsterdam before taking any other city=game over.

Auto-play with Russia 1798, failure, as allies could not resist the overwhelming French force. All generals available deployed. Ottomans delayed by 4 turns.

Sweden 1806 didn't go so well... I played manually until about turn 110, when the French faction was only left with Marocco, some of Spain, south of Italy and Asian part of Ottoman Empire. Decide to turn auto, and by turn 180 Ottomans still had Middle East (only modern Turkey and Caucasus were in Coalition's hands) and no more allied troops on that front except a lot of navies from Egypt). I decided then to send a squad from Spain and the game was over 40 turns later Edit:
(Did it for a challange and because I needed Crown Badges for medals) Horrible. Allies where quickly destroyed in Central Europe, and by turn 50 there were only me (with most of Spain) GB (with only their islands) and Russia (north of Moscow and Smolensk). I slowly pushed through France and Italy, GB took Scandinavia quite easily and by turn 150 the enemy had only South Russia, Asia and the Balkans left. My advise: I hope 1812 is better for coalition... now it is way too hard.
