I re-edited the guide to add some new discoveries and information I took for granted before. My addition for advanced players: If your artillery general has high nobility and at least 2β in trading you can move him in round one to Vienna (I know its the opposite direction of italy). Now you can sell 2π§ for 10π° - enough to build directly an armored car for your cavalry general - a big advance for spain and its exclaves in marroc - but you will need help for Calvez.

He has at least 3* trading (x1,8), thatβs enough to afford a guard cav. An own gen with more trading stars or higher nobility gets a better changing rate, but you lose two turns. if you go for Lan thatβs too much loss. If Victoria is the only target it is worth a try.

The Italian front is not this problem to loose two rounds - the advance of mguns against infantry is in Spain a big accelerator. For an Asian speed run this is not the best advise I know, but to get a nice Asian score, the American conquests are much easier.

Ive never playedΒ no gen conquests, except in the very beginning and the one experiment with FRAβ98.Β I know FR'98 without generals and it worked on my first play nice. I already have a save game (now) that will give me, by the time, the Asian princesses I know that I need only two generals for HRE speed run. I would like to know, if somebody has a tactics, special for Spain, without extra combat generals. And most important: What is the limit of rounds to get Isabella?

From previous conquests I believe it is 30 to 40 rounds in conquest to get Isabella.

The hardest European princess is Victoria(850), Isabella must be easier. But: You can't get Asian princesses direct at the beginning!

Thatβs what Picard wrote in his FRAβ98 guide.

If I can manage it I will test how much rank/exp/campaign is required - I just have 70β and practical no rank/exp (21/12) - too less for Asia this I know already.
