The second era seems to allow a higher cap.

The second era seems to allow a higher cap. Base maximum is 150 for 1798 and 160 for 1806.

The second era seems to allow a higher cap. Base maximum is 150 for 1798 and 160 for 1806. I'm playing latest Google Play version yet I broke both records. My economy didn't seem to slow down after I cross the 150 (1798) & 160 (1806) line. By endgame, I could have at least a population cap 10 - 20 people higher than both of your numbers. Note: No hacking, modding or illegal tempering/downloading was carried out.

Same, but I was saying that this is the maximum where cities population works properly. After that, building a farm may give 2 pop or not give at all.
