Since there are limits to the number of each item you can have, what are some of your preferred item load outs for your generals?
Given that you need to deploy multiple generals each mission or conquest, how do you guys distribute the items between your entire roster? If only we could have double ambulance on all 8 gens...
My current roster is: Massena, Karl, Murat, Kutuzov and 4 free gens.
For cav, I run ambulance + flintlock pistol on Murat as he is my primary offensive unit. This combination gives the best recovery per slot and most offense to maximize his homage to activate extra attacks. I don’t have a second cav gen yet so not sure what I would set their load out to be.
For infantry, I run ambulance + royal guards clothes on Karl, using him to soften enemies up for Murat to clean up. I opted for the extra hp to take advantage of the high hp low armor stats of infantry units and Karl’s defensive skill set compared to the likes of Massena or Washington.
I put double tents on Massena as I run him on grenadiers most of the time to combo his siege skills. He needs the extra recovery to compensate for his lack of defensive skills and constantly being on the frontline.
For artillery, I run the artillery scope + battlefield meds on Kutuzov for damage and slow recovery. Most of the time good positioning can cover for the low 10hp recovery rate.
I don’t run any items on the free gens as I haven’t invested anything into their ranks, except Jourdan who has a battle ability boost. The free gens take way too much damage for items to matter

Imo, no need to use 2 tents or 2 ambulances with one gen. The most important purpose of the gen is to deliver the damage. One healing unit is quite OK to provide reasonable survivability for the general like Karl or Massena. You still have good items for increasing the battle (+inf/cav/art) ability like Ferguson/Becker rifles for infantry. Prussian helmet and Royal guard cloth is also quite good, but attack items are better imo. Small medical kits are quite useless as it can't reasonably compensate the damage receive so I prefer the items I mentioned earlier.

andrei They can be used on artillery generals quite well I guess. (+10 HP/turn seems good enough for them)

Somebody is sending arty gens right into the battle. I as for me, I am trying to protect the arty with other gens and spawned units. And some damage the arty receives during a mission... well I can live with that

The Ferguson rifle was next on the list for purchasing, I prioritized maxing some skills before hand. I think it’s a good replacement for the royal guard uniform on Karl especially once I can max his rank for the extra 30% hp.
What do you guys put on your third infantry gen (if you have one)? I’m thinking of Washington as my next gen purchase but will run out of recovery items for him.
The 10 hp recovery has been good on artillery for me as it’s sometimes impossible to avoid damage via positioning as the Ai prioritizes attacking artillery. The damage loss from low hp really puts a damper on its effectiveness in busting cities.

Robert Walpole Don't you know that you can switch phone's time to finish those missions and also that getting the skills right only gives a little bit of extra money. That's terrible reason honestly (however it might be good in other ways).
