We agree to disagree. I will still stick with Washington out of the 3.
On aura skills. I agree they are the very best skills and it was a nice surprise to discover their power in EW6.

Yeah especially considering how crap they were in World Conqueror 4. I mean I have seen Rokossovsky and Guderian hit for over 600 damage with the right build, so Crowd tactics was pretty useless. In this game however, they are really good.

This is my Lannes once fully upgraded. He is really really powerful. Every good general in the game once fully upgraded is really powerful . But I agree Lannes is a great Infantry general. All his skills are great. And, as we know he is cheap. I think Lannes and John are two best generals in the game when we compare price and quality... But Ney and Alexander are close... I found Scharnhorst to be a great price performer as well. I found him to be better than Kutuzov, especially on rocket artillery, and trust me I had both. And I agree, John is a bit overhated since he has two terrain bonuses. He is basically jourdan on steroids as he had the Salvo skill which joursan lacked, in addition to more versatility. He is definitely worth his medals. With Bagration and Hood, I personally found both of them to be useless. While hood is cheap and a hard hitter, I found Treville is so much better to the point where even after the final discounted price its not worth going after him. And with Bagration, he has no offensive power whatsover. Greene is slightly more expensive than him and is a much more powerful choice. Masséna also deserves a mention as he is the cheapest general with infantry general, while being almost as strong as Karl.

We usually have three directions to attack in missions so I think it's ur playing style decides which generals you choose. If you usually use all your gens to attack the red points one by one, so it's Massena-Barclay-Karl, but if you tend to split your gens to attack many directions at once, so it'll be suvorov-lannes-washington.

For this list, can you assume that the general in question has a aura buff applied, as Masséna with one can deal more damage with his infantry master compared to Lannes unaffected by it. I am looking for the general that compliments someone with infantry master the best. For example, would Karl + Lannes be better or worse than Karl plus Washington. Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks for reading. Probably Suvorov.

I like Suvorov because he is a BEAST when specialized in crit strike.

It is not uncommon to see him take half of a general's health immeadiatly with crit strike.
