So this thread was made just for fun, but can be potentially useful to current or future players of this game. Are there any generals you guys personally feel are overrated in this game? Feel free to comment down below your guys opinions, as they will be greatly appreciated. To whoever comments, thank you for your time!

i think the only example I can think of is Bismarck, as he really just a more expensive version of Lannes, just with two defensive skills as a substitute for Lannes’ intercept. For Washington and Kutuzov, I personally feel as they deserve the glory they recieve. Oh yeah and feel free to state underrated generals as well.

Maybe not overrated but its something I feel I might have done different with the knowledge I have if I restarted the game. Washington has successfully gotten me through the campaign but I can't help but feel I might have done better if I gotten Karl. Infantry aura skills are so good that Karl probably would had been more effective. At the time the power of aura skills was not discovered and as I result i went with Washington.

I didn’t care for the aura skills at first either. You can always get both Karl and Washington honestly. Best combination. If you got through the game then what’s the problem lol?

Only Lannes costs like 800 medals once he is reduced.

The hyped around the aura gens this version of EW is justified, there really aren’t many gens I would define as overrated.

True Karl is slightly overrated cuz Masséna and Barclay exist. But so is Bismarck cuz Grant exists who is literally a purple copy of bismarck but costs 1000 medals less.

Well the opposite actually, I prefer washington, or any of the other infantry aura generals over bismarck.
