Navia Lanoira , stoic , Harry Lillis "Bing" Crosby Jr , oh, also cavalry is op because their high mobility lowers the possibility of making a blunder, thus you can pretty much fck around and you're still gonna have a really good run. For countries that have a lot of infantry during the start, just disband them and build dem lancers. Calvary is something like fast wc4 tanks?

Highest mobility, and they have a generic unit which costs 110 gold, considered a heavy cavalry but as mobile as light cavalry, and stats almost equal to a 200 gold cost heavy cavalry. Really balanced if you ask me .

My team is managing well with one cavalry general, though Nothing is compared to infantry moving alongside Infantry masters

america big oof, and just one question, do calvary have high hp or are they fragile? They hit hard, especially against infrantry, and have a %75 of attacking twice,(thus can eliminate multiple units),if they win...

Comparable to most infrantry, about the same, like I said they deal much pain against infrantry than they recieve. It really boils down to,What general you have to influence, or how you use them.

There are several important moments, though. 1. As we have % bonuses in EW6 (a general can increase attack, defense, HPs of his unit by a certain percent depending on his rank and ability) - Infantry generals have the highest possible number of HPs in the game, and cavalry has the best attack and defense. 2. You need stables to produce cavalry, and sometimes they are located in places you don't like. Well, it may be not a significant factor in conquests, but in some campaigns it really is. 3. Cavalry is a bit more expensive to produce and to maintain, especially some elite units. And you need an advanced technology tree to remedy this. But even then cavalry will be a bit more expensive. For example, Assault Infantry costs 180 coins 50 Industry and 8 Population to maintain it. Armored car cost 250, 110, 9 respectively. 4. Only IAP Blucher has 5 useful skills (to some extent Davout as well, but his skills are not as good as those of Blucher) among cavalry generals, all others have only 4. Even Murat has one, I would say, useless skill. Many Infantry generals, on the other hand, have 5 good skills. 5. Some infantry units have interesting abilities, as well. For example, grenadiers can build defensive/offensive constructions and have bonus against walls and forts. 6. Without IAPs there are only 2 cavalry generals with aura, while you can hire 3 Infantry generals with this skill. 7. Most of the time in EW6 you will produce militia and line infantry and these units will profit greatly from fighting with Infantry masters nearby. So, I would say it is a tempting idea to create a cavalry team, but it will face many practical difficulties, so a more balanced lineup is better, imo...

Hmmm, don't tell me i was the only one doing the cavalry team. I tried infantry, but compared to the cavalry one, cavalry gens are just much more consistent(my former records in 1815 were me using cavalry gens, which i used to easily take the records, no offense stoic , and even my prussia record for 1798 was cavalry gens , 2 art gens, and 1 navy gen). I do use a lot of grenadiers tho, and they're used as meat shields or to capture cities. Also, the trick is to simply spam Lancers and put your cavalry gens on them, and let them loose. Also, the hack i used with 6 cavalry gens made me reach really low turn counts, because of mobility. I'd say the reason Cavalry gens are op is because of the existence of lancers. Although your points above are valid .

Although your points above are valid . All our points are grounded on our previous experience . My experience tells me that a balanced team has good chances in the Crimean war missions as well as in conquests. I never played with a cavalry team or any team of fully upgraded generals, so I simply can't confirm or reject the power of 6 cavalry generals. I see some practical difficulties, but they may well be overrated. I really believe that Cavalry masters are the best generals in the game, but I prefer Infantry masters to all other cavalry generals. And I don't believe that a cavalry team can beat a balanced team in conquests . As you may know, I started a new game a couple of weeks ago with a potential balanced lineup. And I am ready to face any theoretical challenge if someone is thinking that it is not the best one

I have 6 cav gens. Bringing them all to the field in conquest more or less reasonably fast is a challenge. For some conquest - sure. Not applicable for most of the countries though. And You normally are given good ranked infantry units. So having inf gens with commander from the very first turn? No any reason not to do so.

True, but most of the countries that are best for speed runs have some cavalries lying around, and even for those who don't you can just build stables for high lvl cities. The cavalry team gave me the most consistent results. Cavalry just has the offense and mobility that makes them useful all through out. It depends tho, since 2 artillery gens, 1 infantry gen, 1 navy and 4 cavalry gen also is pretty consistent for me. I love infantry, but after completing the crimean war and focusing on conquests, i'd say cavalry reigns supreme. The turns used to build stables make up for the sheer offensive prowess and mobility of the lancer. You guys can do tests like mixing the number of gens and see which gen lineup has the most consistent speed run records from 1798 to 1815 using different countries.
