Best choice for iap is Blucher, as Mahmud II is pretty much par with napoleon. The only replacements for Blucher are Murat and Dabrowski, Dabrowski who can’t have any level 5 skills, and Murat who is significantly worse (not a bad general by any means though). Do not pick Wellesley!
Infantry:
-Expensive: Washington/Suvorov, Karl
-Affordable: Masséna, Lannes (840 medals fully reduced!), Garibaldi
-Cheap (no good options), you have Gates for free so don’t even consider buying someone like Roon or Milos (Milos is very tempting though)
Cavarly:
- Expensive: Murat, Davout
- Affordable: Dabrowski, Paget, Ney
- Cheap: Greene, Durova (Greene is so much better)
Artillery:
- Expensive: Kutuzov
- Affordable: Mahmud II, Scharnhorst, Alexander I, John
- Cheap: No good options. Jourdan can give any one of those generals a nice beating and you get him for free.
Navy:
*(Do not buy a navy general as your first general due to very limited applications (you get Falsen for free).*
-Expensive: Nelson
-Affordable: Treville
*Everyone else is just like Falsen, just hit slightly harder, except for Morillo or Verhuell, but its worth saving up for Treville or Nelson as they are weak.*
Generals to Avoid: Bismarck, Suchet, Purple Rank and Below Infantry (Lannes being the only exception), Radetsky, Bagration, Phillip, Lasalle, Poniatowski, Sucre, Blue and Green Tier Cavarly (Durova is arguably weak, but your only option from this tier), Moltke, Scott,
MacMahon, Dearborn, Martin (John is better), Blue and Green Tier Artillery (cept Alex), Any naval general who isn’t named Nelson or Treville.
