Does anyone else here like using timoshenko. First off, he has an absordely high rank (General - 230 health), which is a steal considering he costs 2270 medals. Secondly, he is a tank general with lvl 5 movement. That’s right, he moves as fast as Manstein does. The fastest tank general in the game along with Manstein. Third, he has lvl 3 tide of iron, so he has great survivability. Fourth, he had a fairly nice skill set: urban warfare, supply, panzer leader, just at low levels. All in all, for 2270 medals he offers a great bargain and is fantastic support general for Guderian. He is phenomenal on a super tank. How do you guys feel about him personally? He personally saved my *Auto corrected* in the 1960 conquest, where his tide of iron skill allowed him to grab khaborovsk as Guderian had already been nuked.

Normally players don't use tank gens as static city defence units so we would consider Urban Fighting an average skill for tank gens.
Some analysed that Panzer Leader may not be that good because the crit dmg is actually the gen's atk power at full potential (which is achievable without the skill) & the fact that Panzer Leader's trigger chance is horribly low.
That depends, if you feel he is good then thst's what Timoshenko is.
Also, for his price, some members would compare him to the best tank gen, Guderian. This would overshadow Timoshenko's potential and make him disadvantaged.

I agree, but timoshenko still has fantastic survivability. I agree that his skills aren’t the best, but he does have lvl 3 tide of iron along with lvl 5 movement, and 4 stars in tanks, and a crap ton of health. This makes him a better supporting general than patton in my opinion, as patton lacks tide of iron. I agree guderian is better, but Timoshenko + Guderian is overpowered. He is really a general that is only spectacular on a super heavy tank though.
And keep in my mind, as for guderian, his skills aren’t also all good. You could argue that its only plain warfare and lvl 3 tide of iron that make him good, out of which timoshenko has the lvl 3 tide of iron. Overall timoshenko is a little more than a thousand medals, but offers a lot in value as a supporting general, so comparing him to Rommel and Patton would be more accurate, as he outruns both of them, has a significant advantage on Patton and Rommel. In fact, he is even more useful than my manstein at certain situations.

He terrible. You can't even use 5 stars of movement on tanks.

If you have Guderian and Manstein, you can make EC as 3rd tank gen. I used Vatutin as 3rd tank gen because of his output (together with Guderian and EC), IMO Vatutin in tank is more useful than Manstein, but I think it's better to invest medals in EC than buy 3rd tank gen when you already got Guderian and Manstein.

Timoshenko is never bad, but there are better(more expensive) alternatives. We need 3 tanks, no doubt for Gudedian and Patton. No one excludes Gudedian, and Patton is the best cheap alternative of Manstein. But for the third one(non-EC), it’s really based on preference. Vatutin has output, Rommel is tanky, Montgomery is good at air, and Timoshenko is cheap. I choose to recommend Vatutin and Rommel simply because they are easier to use. Remember one thing... even Eisenhower and Zhukov can fit that spot, then why others can’t?

You put him on a super tank and he’ll go to work.
