Maybe it's because I'm American or maybe it's because it's one of the only ones I know, but the Alamo is my favorite. No reinforcements, no supplies, and a limitless enemy army. Plus that movie about it was great.

The battle of Wizna. They were outnumbered 1:59 I believe and still survived for multiple days.

Like the Alamo, only instead of being an American (Texan technically) Garrison of troops holding out against Mexican offenders during a fiesta, it was Polish Volunteers holding out against German Offenders during WWII.

Battle of Warsaw, because the Poles were being pushed back and lost all their gains in Russia in less than two months to the Russians, but they were able to successfully hold their capital. Not only hold it, but then push back and take land that was later annexed into what was Interbellum Poland Borders. If Warsaw had fallen, it would be likely that Germany and the Balkans would be invaded the Soviets. Just the fact that world history was in those Polish Soldiers hands when defending is just so epic.

Stalingrad! Well it's actually a sacrifice or stupidity though, but still awesome.. I originally had it, but I didn't really see it as a last stand.

If you need them explained, I will explain them. I just don't want to explain the, if no one needs them explained.

I am Polish and I know battle of Warsaw is one of the most important battle of the world, but it wasn't last stand. It was offensive leaded by Piłsudski and Soviet advantage was only 2:1. So my vote is Wizna. Company of 720 soldiers, 6 guns, 42 MGs and 2 anti-tank firearms vs 42000 soldiers with 350 tanks leaded by Guderian? Survive 3 days?

It was an offensive after the initial soviet attack. It was a last stand because the Polish were on their last legs at that point and would have to win the battle in order to win the war.
