I got a question. Is it worth upgrading beginner generals such Cleopatra? Will say she be overpowered at lvl 4 tech. Or is it simply more promisable to get Bismarck. Also, same goes with Huo Quobing and Saladin. Can you use these beginning generals in end game?

Well, some players proved that Saladin has enough potential to be an end game general ( european-war-4.boards.net/thread/8333/final-lineup-endgame-advice?page=2 ). As for Cleo, I think, she is not bad at all (as some other blue generals as well), but as you can get a free Bismarck there is no sense to invest too many medals into her abilities. Most likely you will need 2 Artillery generals for last epic battles like Panama, Volgograd and so on. There is simply no place for her. |

If you haven't read this thread then do so, it will give you an idea of what to aim for depending on your preferred playing style.
