I honestly really loved European War 6, as it allows you to actually farm medals unlike in World Conqueror 4. Plus it provides much snoother and funner gameplay than in European War 4, in which non general units were pretty much useless. Man easy tech has been killing it recently. I liked wc4, ew6 and ew4 the same.

The worst thing I wish to change is taking over cities, it is so frustrating to see several units taking on a guarded AI unit surrounded cut off from its supply line. The unit dies and city brought to it knees, but no movement available to take over, so next turn a unit spawns and you have to start all over again, knowing that AI can constantly build units with endless supply, killing momentum and fun. also AI Allie kills enemy on city but moves to next unit closer not taking city and then let enemy spawn unit and whole frigging process lets enemy deal with one of the objectives which can be a nightmare when on deadlines for 3 stars or even a 1
Why can't ships heal in ports since they cannot use temples. Also Temples are useless! cannot even heal in allied or captured and bugger all for deadlines, Why not infantry in cities, cavalry in stables, artillery in factories, they have the resources for at least recovering if not under attack.
a better guide to all the icons of game will help As well as economy side, find it stupid to spend medals in shop to buy things, medals yes for rank and noble ranks. start of campaigns to quick to read quotes. Also check spelling punctuation a lot of typos. instructions are vague especially when so called cooperation with AI allies.
I been playing conquest, and I really feel peeved when AI has better spending, suddenly an extra frigate to ship of line pops up (no way a player gets that when fighting three fronts with same nations and end endless troops, while I struggle with a slow input of income. Is there a topic or more information to somehow boost efficiency? Also they unlock upgrades really early, seeing Krupp guns less than ten rounds! Conquest is sooo drawn out like triple sec games you build and the ai never dies till you put the last nail in the coffin. When a nation loses its country they should be put out of its misery. I'm currently playing Spain, totally destroyed Britain and was doing well in Sweden, but the French did not finish brits in France and they expanded, next I'm facing Russia, Prussia, Britain and Sweden!
this game really will great when it is balanced.

1)The city thing is pretty frustrating especially in the later conquests (And god forbid they start spamming generals) but it can be overcome by simply building another unit nearby and sending them over. 2)I believe some countries have tech that allows them to heal for %8 per turn iirc.

jamesyang , thank you for taking the time to come here and talk to us. I would like to see a save-game feature as a separate, easily located file on the device, which could be backed up onto a separate platform via USB storage or e-mailed to myself for later restoration if the device or the app became corrupted. While I think the Cloud backup is an excellent idea, sometimes we play for extended periods away from the Internet (e.g. on very long airplane flights) and would prefer some other, physical means of backup that did not rely on it. I have just started playing EW6, and I will answer the questionnaire when I have more experience with it.

My greatest disappointment with recent Easytech games is the lack of details. Why are we using Krupp guns with napoleonic militias? Why won’t some cities go into rebellion after its occupants have moved on? Why won’t the French units freeze to death in Russia while fighting in Winter? Why can you train unlimited amount of soldiers, as if small nations like Netherlands will never run out of manpower and mutiny? Why are the generals only allowed to command one unit and unable to pass on to another when one dies? I get that Easytech has been adding technological advancements to simulate the change in different eras, but they never update the textures on the soldiers or the special abilities they possess, as different battle tactics come to play, as time progresses. Another thing I dislike about Easytech is that they have given AI unfair cheats in games since WC3. Such examples would be AI’s will spawn in units that won’t be possible if a player were in that spot, and possessing unfair unit quality advantage like in ew6, where you will always have your units debuffed compared to your enemies in conquests. (If you play as Russia in 1806, your Crimean Battleship will have around 90 points of damage output while the Ottoman ship will have 108. If you play the Ottomans, it will be vice versa. ) This makes Easytech games look like pay to wins, something that turns many players off. The flaws doesn’t end here. Easytech also have certain game mechanics that doesn’t make sense or is utterly useless, and possibly completely unnecessary. Take the wonders as an example. They don’t really provide much of a benefit other than doing something for a round or two. Another feature that I find annoying would be the temple. It only heal units by a tiny bit at a time, but in games like this, time is key. It’s totally not worth a space in a region and 270 resources. Because of the flaws like and not limited to these, hacks exist to compensate to the displeased players. These flaws also fuel the demand for mods (Of which Easytech may or may not like) , as some may not be already satisfied with the original game. I really hope certain issues could be addressed in the next game. Yes being more realistic is good but you gotta admit that EW6 is a pretty good game, even better than the beloved EW4. Imagine what you wanted somehow get implemented into the game, how could you even win a conquest? If your troops will die of hunger and cold in the Russian lands, this basically turns Russia into a freaking 10star country with unconquerable land...... and when you did manage to go in you gotta station troops in every single city because they will rebel against you, but then you have another problem, a limited troop size...... So, if you don’t have enough troops, you lose cities, then you lose resources, then you lose troops......well the conquest got more realistic, but it is legit impossible for us player bro. However I do agree that wonders need a buff and we need more stable conquest that doesn’t change the tide of war base on which side we are on. And generals changing unit might be a good idea but it can also be a nightmare in campaign and challenges tho. 7 So in the 5th paragraph you said that cities would rebel against you, so that made me think of an entirely new mechanic. So you know how in EW6 1806, in the 1798 conquest, the HRE, France, and Denmark all have provinces of german ethnic majority. The HRE has münich, frankfurt, nuremburg, saxony, and another unamed province, France has cologne, and Denmark has Hamburg. So what if you play as prussia and occupy these provinces but instead of the cities rebeling, they accept your rule, as prussia is a ethnically german country. It would be like germans liberating fellow germans from the frenh, danes, and HRE. Another example would be the italian peninsula, the HRE province on venice, the french province of Turin, and the kingdom of Sardinia. In this example, you will be Italy. If you occupy naples (and later sicily in the 1806 conquest), venice, and turin, there will be no rebellions, as the provinces all have a large ethnic italian majority. Sardinia is different, as their ethnicity and culture is different to that of italy, but sardinia participated in the unification of italy and accepted italian rule, so there wont be any rebellions. In this final example, you (ottoman empire) in the 1812 and 1815 conquest manage to occupy Egypt. Egypt resented Ottoman rule and even went to war against the ottoman empire a few times in an attempt to regain independence, so because of this opposition to ottoman rule, the cities of egypt will constantly be attempting rebelions to kick you out. The main idea of this concept is that provinces that come under control of a country of the same ethnicity will not rebel as long as they have been unified with fellow people of the same ethnicity or at least people of a similar ethnicity. (ex: poland, russia, and other slavic majority provinces. They may have different nationalities and different cultures but they are all still slavs and can at least tolerate each other), while people that are brought under rule of a country with an entirely different ethnicity (or that have been historically different such as spanish and portugal, which were a part of the iberian union, but went their own ways and ended the union due to large differences in culture, a strong sense of nationalism among the portuguese population, and mild portuguese opposition and protest against spanish rule.) will rebel in order to expell the forces occupying their country.

guys, i have a noob question, how do you upgrade the city to level 6? so i can unlock the higher tier troops. That's very much a legitimate question, and unfortunately I'm pretty sure you're trying to upgrade a city which has reached its cap and can no longer upgrade. I know, that's so unsatisfying! And how do you know what the cap on a city is? Sadly, I don't think there's any information in this game on how much you can upgrade a city unlike later titles of ET which tells you outright. But at least you can upgrade things unlike WC3... anyway, good luck with the game, I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do!
