When you say completed, did you manage Volgograd with that lineup? Yep  I mean "completed" in all direct meanings of this word  I used Bismarck instead of Nelson to kill a general on that godforsaken island. It wasn't easy though. But Bismarck has Rumor. I think Khalid can do this as well... Now that's impressive! I thought it might not be possible without either Washington or Nelson, but you have proven otherwise I think you should post your lineup with the others here if only to show us mere mortals what is possible |

Saladin is very good, and as I said it was proved that he can be in the final lineup. But I would replace him by Attila. When I completed EW5 the second time, my team was cavalry based and Attila was a star in it. When I completed EW5 first time I thought that Nobunaga is a MVP. But now I tend to think it is Attila. He will make Blucher and Khan very powerful. Attila is so good that his Commander skill will be active permanently most of the time. Buy Attila and you will be ready for all nasty surprises in the game So get Attila as well? I mean most of my generals will have logistics, so there is no real reason as to why I won’t be able to fit him or blucher on my team. Attila has the best attack in the game. I can't say it for sure now but he is even stronger than Khan. Attila has Braveness so all his attacks will be without retaliation. And he is a Commander that means his attack can be increased by 50% (as I said almost indefinitely). And he will increase attack of Blucher and Khan by 50% as well. It is especially vital in case of Blucher, who has an excellent survivability but is somewhat weak. Do you really need more than that? Buy Attila upgrade ALL his skills and you won't regret it for a moment. |

Theoretically Robin can do this but he is too weak to have him in the team. And to upgrade him for only Volgograd without any guarantee of success... I don't know, a very courageous move. So we have only Nelson (easiest way) or an Artillery general who can do this. Artillery's attack against tough opponents is far from being impressive but we have special abilities. We can either disable him (Bismarck) or decrease his defense by 50% (Khalid). My thought was to buy and upgrade Nelson especially for Volgograd, but I did it with Bismarck in the end... |
