Hi guys, I am trying to create an end game team to better spend my medals. Any, my lineup will probably look like this:
Appostrophes mean that they are probably going to be on the bench most of the time
Artillery: Li Shimin, Napoleon
Cavarly: Blucher, *Khan,* *Saladin*
Infantry: Peter, Richard
Archer: Washington, Nelson, Nobunaga
Am I planning it right, or is there a better way to do it. Any feedback will be appreciated. Also, do I need more Artillery and Archer generals than other categories, or even then I got planned here. Thanks
I already have Li Shimin and the 3 Iaps

Napoleon & Li ShiMin as arty gens are enough. It seems that archers are the focus of this team (Nelson provides ArchCom, Washington provides extra dmg to most land units, Nobunaga Oda provides debuff to all enemies + extra dmg to all enemies). Blücher & surrounding allies' survivability improves due to his active skill & Blücher's Plunder. IMO, if you want to use him more often, you can give Saladin equipment that gives good atk boosts so that Saladin can solo massacre enemy waves (Kills = HP regain due to Logistics, then Cav Mobility skill allows multiple kills before charging active skill to hit 3 enemies in a row). Saladin has -25% archer dmg, if I recall correctly, so his survivability further increases. The inf gens can probably be tag-team & just rely on each other to survive. If you need an inf-killer, you can swap in your Genghis Khan. Heck, I'd also recommend using his Brave at 100% to also attack archers as well. Your team probably can manage, Friedrich “Fried Rice” Paulus. It seems pretty solid as long as you can use them correctly. |

I’ll try giving him better items for sure. My main concern with my build is that I am missing out on commanders, but i’d much rather has as many rumor and logistics generals as possible so that I can rumor the enemy than kill it. |

When I completed EW5 the second time, my team was cavalry based and Attila was a star in it. When I completed EW5 first time I thought that Nobunaga is a MVP. But now I tend to think it is Attila. He will make Blucher and Khan very powerful. Attila is so good that his Commander skill will be active permanently most of the time. Buy Attila and you will be ready for all nasty surprises in the game  |

Attila - Black Prince - Blucher (from time to time I used Asoka as well). Mocti-Li Caesar Khalid-Bismarck I would like to share it, but as you know I was absent for some time. But who knows... Maybe I'll decide to complete it once again. EW5 is a good game!!! Never I was so proud to complete a game, as following Singlemalt's example I decided to try to beat Volgograd again and did it. Until that only andrei bested EW5 and we've lost all other players along the way. But then you and dain completed it as well. An accomplishment we all can be proud of!!!  |

I mean most of my generals will have logistics, so there is no real reason as to why I won’t be able to fit him or blucher on my team. |

4sure my favourite et game.. even despite the cartonish style The longest and most addictive easy tech game. Its a lot of fun honestly. Wc4 and Ew6 where also not dissappointments for me. |

Yep I mean "completed" in all direct meanings of this word I used Bismarck instead of Nelson to kill a general on that godforsaken island. It wasn't easy though. But Bismarck has Rumor. I think Khalid can do this as well... |
