I notice some people say the AI spam troops but it's not spamming.
I did look into stage files and a certain round the AI keep spawning troops. Like example turn 7 they spawn a riflemen
Turn 8 old guard.

Spam unit will happen but if the AI spawn with a general then that coded with that mission |

From what I've seen AI stops spawning units after they reach the low hard cap in conquests ( 150 for 1798, 160 for the other 2), regardless of what their max population is ( that's one of the reasons small countries are so weak... they spawn until they get like -90% penalty.. so bad)

The AI spam is real if your enemy has a really strong economy.
When playing my only Mexico 1812 attempt, the French Eagle seized all of Europe.
The Danish-Norwegians were the greatest threat to Britain when I arrived in Europe so I used my reinforcements to wipe them out & reclaim lost British cities.
However, after wiping out the Danish-Norwegian invading force, they spammed yet another force.
Against Conquest enemies with strong economies, the spam is real especially if the enemy faction has numerous nations with string economies.
