He deals a maximum of 100 damage and even with level 6 logistics, Alexander can still defeat more troops and take more hits than him. Yet when I venture into the threads he’s in people’s endgame general list. How so?

Yet when I venture into the threads he’s in people’s endgame general list. How so? Survivability from his unique unit ability, Armour (at lvl 6) & Logistics. His Rumour should be maxed out (because the probability in EW5 is naturally low).

Yet when I venture into the threads he’s in people’s endgame general list. How so? I never used him myself, but if I did I would max logistics & rumour. Having said that I'd only use him in an infantry focused lineup with at least 2 commanders. Others may disagree. Two questions though: Why do you say max 100 damage? He's showing 213 attack at 2 stars in mine. Who has had him in their final lineup? european-war-4.boards.net/thread/6183/finaly-beat-volgograd?page=2

Mine deals 300 damage minimum, even with crap items. The trick is to get him to discovery, and get his logistics to level 4. Then he becomes great at farming classical. Upgrade rumor to make him good in campaign. Really he is an amazing general to farm classical with, as he never gets rekt.
I think getting Richard makes more in sense in discovery, before that you should go for Nobunaga. Li Shimin also surpasses Napoleon in discovery and in gunpowder.
