Portugal is easy if you have at least one good cav general. Simply take the city in the north and proceed east along the cost. Many weak cities. In the south, send the artillery to help the british navy out. After that try to take out spain, then help out in france. If you need assistance, lend lease sardinia and sweden. Eventually, once a couple countries such as Italy and the Netherlands capitulate, the balance will shift in your team’s favor

Shoving clinton on the givem hussar might work

Then, take the city and cross the Pyrenees. Since I took too long to conquer the mainland, Sardinia, Prussia and HRE fell with Sweden holding out in its Finnish territories, Naples being driven back and Russia starting to collapse. Even alone, good tactics + Russia distracting the enemy in the east will allow you to takeover the French home territories. Afterwards, just push eastward. (I am ignoring the islands first because the enemy navy in the Mediterranean is quite strong.)
