In all seriousness, he is the only free general who can be used up til the very end. Even though his massive isnโt massive like Kutuzovโs or Scharnhorstโs, its still pretty dang good. He isnโt much worse than Moltke, who is a gold general. Worth keeping for a while.
Also, its worth noting that his health is also quite high. At 35%, with no upgrades, you can shove an item on him. Outdone only by Alexander in the blue tier

He's good, but if we need to upgrade the skills to make him good, I'd rather choose another guy

People usually praise Sophia, but this here guy has a pretty high battle ability to be honest. I upgraded Sophia to Duke ranking, and he being stock is just slightly below her.

Sophia can reach emperor(empress to be specific). She also has all the best artillery skills except artillery commander, and she has a higher BA and AA values. Jourdan is good, but he eventually gets overshadowed by Alexander I, Mahmud II, John and Sophia. |

He's the only reason why I'm going for Murat first. There's no need of 2 Art general for now. Jourdan is enough to carry on campaigns together with Massena when it comes to destroy cities and forts

I still have him but rarely use him anymore. John, Alex Sophia,better yet Napoleon are the best city busters. |
