I almost finished the game perfectly ( 1 Italian Campaign left to do with 3 starts and 3 challenges to get from 2 to 3) and I got 42 gold medals just by doing this.. that is enough for 10 Kings or 1 Emperor and 8 Kings or 3 Emperors and 3 Emperors and 4 Kings.. you get it. (And I'm sure that there are more to gain after 1815 update). The thing is that Gold Medals are the kind of thing that you need once and you are done after... and if you get too many it is a waste of medals ( which we could use to get skills and rank up) Think about this and then make a choice.
