Just as the title says, we need to learn how to create custom maps for EW4. From what I know, we can do this without having any special programme that works only on Chinese softwares, and I think Naidu is way ahead of us in this domain.
The main idea is that there should be at least one person on this community that can create custom maps using programmes such as Hexographer, and can learn us how to do so. IdIlike this thread to be about map creating experiments, questions and answers, and even maybe get to some results.
I hope that eventuality we will get this very useful skill, and use it in creating new and better mods. Since it is possible, why not try? If anyone knows more about map creating, he's welcomed to share his experiences.

CountVonNumenor, i saw on badiu some excel map editiors that work on Excel but i been told it work on chinese os computers

The programme I knew that works on our computers to make the maps is Hexographer. But how to use it, and what programme can we use then to convert the map into something that can be used in the game? That's what we need to learn.

@communist, for me is very hard to use the Baidu alternative. First of all, I really do not know how to search their forum. My second problem is that I do not speak Chinese, so each time when I get there I understand nothing, and the auto translate by Google is just awful. Can you help me with this part, please? To get there and actually be able to communicate with them.
Also, why not have our own map creators too?

But I know that we have programmes that wirk outside of China. One custom map was done two month ago using Hexpgrapher with great success, but it dissapeared together with its creator, so we should learn maybe to use that programme.

Yeah. Too bad that happened. Let's hope we will figure out how to make maps by ourselves (I think it's a skill we must get, since we have the pretention to be an important ET modding community). It would be a very useful skill, since we have the tools avaible for that.

Instead of just staying and praying to suddenly get a map out of nowhere, we should learn to make the custom maps by ourselves. Magic McArthur already succeded in doing so, despite it's for WC4. So who wants to be first to try and learn us?

I tried countless times to make a map by myself, but failed miserably. I failed every time using Hexographer, I dont know what other programme to use, there is no tutorial on youtube about creating a functional map on these games, Magic McArthurs map is not compatible with EW4 and now I ran out of ideas about what should I do. Please someone on this whole forum help find a solution not for me, but for getting a new skill in modding.
I tried both coverting an outline map of Middle earth on Hexographer (which did not work) and doing it by hand (again, did not work)

Interesting news: I found out from Bismarck Junior that you can make a custom map in EW4 using only just a HEX Editor programme (eventhe one on the phone works). All I'd like now is to actually see him create a tutorial on this subject.
