I have the four freebies and Murat. I'm considering Karl, Washington, Mahmud, Masséna, and Davout. What about Sophia? Can you get her? As for your other options, this is what I think your better choices are Best choice: 1. Masséna: very cheap and easy to use. Can buff gates and clinton. 2. Davout: can compliment Murat very well. Powerful. A great choice. 3. Mahmud II: very good also. Napoleon lite, can buff jourdan. Isn’t higher because you have two free infantry generals that need an aura, and you have one of the best cavarly generals in the game. 4. Karl: more challenging to use, needs masséna’s, and maybe even barclay’s help in order for his jungle fighting skill to truly shine, more expensive than masséna 5. Washington: worst choice out of all of them I feel. He is good, but he won’t help your team out as drastically as Masséna or Karl can Princesses: 1. Sophia: best artillery general in the game, as she surpasses john and arguably mahmud. Maybe even napoleon too. Salvo level 4?  2. Victoria: can get her on the third mission. Navy general on par with nelson but very cheap. |

Just karl barclay and massena can get you really far into the game by themselves. But davout is an option though. I’d personally get the three first then move onto cav generals to keep it less complicated. If you dislike tactics master, davout isn’t the man for you. Then you should get Lan or Ney, preferably Lan though. |
