I just thought about my final lineup which generals i want to be in it and in turns out that i bought expensive general that doesnt fit in my final lineup( i mean attila). Yes i know that attila is great general and can greatly increase other cav gens damage but it just doesnt fit that good in my team i wanted 2 inf generals 4 arch and 2 artillery but then i remembered that i have spent many medals on saladin and attila, so i switched 1 inf gen for attila. But then again attilas com abillity will be useless if there are no cavgens in lineup but i just need at least 1 inf gen so will switching 1 of artillery generals be a good idea? Will i be able to beat game at least till industrial age with only 1 artillery? Or do i restart game once again and dont spend my medals on cav gens? Btw im at discovery age
Will it be better idea to switch inf gens for cavgens?

Do NOT restart. 2 arty is recommended, or at least 1 VERY good arty.
Attila can also be a one-man army on his own since his Brave + Cav Com allows him to deal dmg without dying so easily.
If you plan on switching an inf gen, it should be one who you feel is the least useful. IMO, if you keep Alexander, he can be 2nd arty gen at Industrial Age due to his Phalanx ability.

Hmm alexander as a 2nd artillery is a really intresting idea, but then again if i do that will he be able to do artillery gens work and defend my archers too? And btw can u tell me how many of each category did u have?

I completed EW5 first time with only Li Shimin. But from time to time two Art generals are of great use. For example, when we have to kill fortified enemies or in some defense mussions. In these cases I used Bismarck as well. He is free and easy to upgrade. He will be available at lvl 70, notwithstanding your current progress...

Yeah sure i just wanted to know if 1 art gen would be enough for campaigns, so then it will be enough, at least should be thx for help

You can use cleopatra as well. She is quite cheap and you can max out rumor on her. She cannot be counterrattacked, and while bringing up Bismarck to 5 stars is a waste, Bringing up Cleopatra to 6 stars only helps her out, and it is quite cheap to do. You will have to babysit her a lot, but she will basically be your #1 rumoring general.

2 art is all you need...but you need more than 1.

And no matter what, you cannot beat the game without Napoleon (jk lol). I don’t think you necessarily need an artillery at all. You can have one general with leadership debuff the fort, and then gradually all of your other generals will wear it down to bits. But artillery generals can be very useful debuffers I found.

I dont think you can finish all campaigns with 3 stars and finish the last mission without artillery. This will stall you too long, imo

Yeah sure its just that i have no place for any additional generals after full day of think i finaly decided which gens i want to have for last lineup(still not sure),but i dont think that cleopatra would be the best solo artillery general

He is quite expensive, but that is another story... Previous time my solo Art general was Khalid, but I had 2 Cure masters and 1 Armour master in the team, otherwise it would be very difficult to keep him alive...
