I lost one of my experienced soldiers by accident in xcom.
The soldier who was a support got critically wounded by a over watch shot from a muton. I moved my soldiers up carefully and I moved my other support who had a medkit just on the edge of circle around wounded soldier into cover. To my shock I could not revive the wounded soldier and he died the next turn. I should have moved my support closer to the circle to get in range.

If you play on Classic or Impossible they over watch in every turn. Very hard for me to deal with. Of course the Assault perk Lightning Reflexes takes care of the Overwatch problem  |
