Guys, how do You know Sophia is better? Are You using her? Or have You calculated her final stats? Could You please share it? Good point. I will personally buy victoria very soon and will see if they are as good as we imagine them to be.

Is Lan any good? I hear she can replace Dabrowski Lan is Murat without aura. Dambrovsky is aura gen. You can't directly compare them. If You need second aura gen You need Dambrovsky, if Your playstyle is not based on using several auras at once Lan will be better for You. So as usual there is no ideal recipe for every player. "One man's treasure is another man's trash" In Russian language this proverb sounds like: what is good for Russian is German's certain death.

Especially taking into account that Admiral Aleksandr Kolchak (as I understand) is from Germany

Though personally I wouldn't replace aura generals with other without aura in any case. For two simple reasons: 1. It is a great team skill. 2. It is a great personal skill as well.
And many forget that aura is an excellent personal skill. Dabrowski has the best possible combination of skills in EW6: aura + Plain fighting + flat damage. Only a couple generals have it. Even lvl 4 of those skills is better than lvl 5 of many other decent skills, imo...

A bit higher stats (Emperor vs. Duke) 2. Higher terrain bonus (Duke is only lv4) 3. Edge is quite good skill. Profit can be compared with aura profit for Dambrovsky himself. Especially taking into account that Lan's skills cap is lv5 compared to lv4 for Dambrovsky. But, I would recommend You to use aura gens, as it increases You power a lot. You can benefit from it not only with Your gens, but with units You can send to support either advance or defence. That gives You high flexibility with allocating Your forces on the battlefield.
