right, searched old threads, found no answer...
1) city health is ? per city (size) level? I've found one unsupported claim that it is 70/level, can we check it somehow?
2) effects of wonders; wonders that give + health to cities, does it apply for: -your starting cities only -all cities under player's control, or -it's effect is global, for all cities regardless who owns them?
3) any way to see current city health like it's visible for units? am I missing something?
4) what is city's recovery rate, and does supply tech level influence that as it does for units? other then bonuses from general's fortification skill, any other factors?
cheers

In this game, we really didn't bother since this was the era when cracking forts & cities were easier.
1) Just send an arty to isolated cities & crack it. Then add the required dmg to empty the city.
4) Supply DOES NOT increase city fortification recovery rate, only the skill you mentioned. There's probably nothing you can do to increase the rate your troops fortify cities.

I'm more concerned about Q2... you know, as I upgrade my tech, I don't really see any improvement (and its not only about cities either)
it is not possible now to roll back and measure, but it looks like game is in one way or the other matching your progress.
your impressions/experiences, anyone?

ok, this may sound silly, but I have to know - cities, should they not heal by themselves? for me it only works if there's a unit in it. another mystery is I tend to have on average 2 eternally burning cities. I know about explosions and chances for that, but is there not time limit on it? most goes out in 1-3 turns, but some... as said, about 2 times per conquest they just keep on burning. just want to check, that happens to you? does not look like intended behaviour, feels more like bug

As for the eternally burning cities, likely a glitch which can be ignored as you will either be spawning troops to hold it of the frontline will be increasingly distant from the cities.
