I'd like to know which generals you prefer and if possible, why. Anyways: Napoleonic times: 1. Suvorov: Because he never lost a battle and often fought against an enemy with a small chance to win and against a superior number of enemies/ Lannes: Best general of Napoléon and there's a lot of competition for that title. 2. Davout: Never lost a battle too, fought in Friedland with 26000 troops against 70000 troops. And won. 3. Murat: Very good and charismatic cavalry general who designed his extravagant uniforms himself. 4. Napoléon: Because he introduced new military tactics, had a good relationship with his soldiers and had high grades in maths 5. Masséna: Defence of Genoa is just incredible WW2: 1. Rokossovski: Just because he had steel teeth 2. Guderian: For defeating France and kicking Tale in USSR 3. Vatutin: His double chin makes him so cuuuuuute 4. Vasilevsky: Operation Uranus and his invasion of Manchuria in 1945 were both perfect operations 5. Patton: Similar to Murat. Hall of fame: Sokolovsky: I love his book "Military strategy-Soviet doctrine and concepts" Gebhard von Blücher: For being under-rated Napoléon: Being an emperor and brilliant general at the same time isn't something easy

If you mean as a general only that means military only then I'd have to agree with Sherman about Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck. That dude was a beast in guerilla fighting. I didn'g include him because I didn't like what he did afterwards. He was a national socialist (Nazi)

He even told him to go *Auto Corrected* himself. He was a racist and an anti-Semite though

I only remembered hearing that he was kind of the same opinion about race as the Nazis. I also really like Rommel for some reason. He's the general I love but I don't know why really.
