Wow guys, this is unbelievable Rome Total War has come to the Iphone platform.
This is a classic most epic strategy game that was ever made, it has a lot of depth and is super fun to play and now can be run on mobile. Too bad it's not available on android yet, hoping that will eventually change though.
The game runs fairly smoothly gfx wise, here is how it looks like on the iphone:
If it's been a while since you played the game here is a refresher Youtube Let's Play (PC version)from Many a True Nerd (totally pro player) on the highest difficulty level:

As far as I remember it is available at least for a year or so. There was a rumor that this game will come to Android platform as well in 2018, but unfortunately it is still only a rumor. Great game indeed...

Mod support if we get it on android, you think? Imagine the Warhammer mod on mobile. In actual fact, RTW was a very easy game for modding. If only data files will be available, as they were available on PC. MTW2 was a bit more difficult, but with some experience it was possible even to create new textures inside the game (using existig parts), but since ETW/NTW only very experienced modders can do it...

Android version is out... It's time to replay the greatest battles of antiquity www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVwMSOrvrO7hbXoh4oG8mmon538lys_M8All these documentaty films were made by using RTW: "Decisive Battles is a television show, which originally aired on History Channel, that depicted historic battles. It ran for thirteen episodes in mid-2004. The show used the game engine from Rome: Total War to present 3-D versions of the battles".
