So after finals I had pretty strong nostalgia fof Ew4. I eventually succumbed to it and, despite me almost previously beating the entire game with spending under 15$ (probably could have done it under 5$ looking back). My addiction to Easy Tech games resulted in me buying almost 40$ in iaps.
Anyway, I have lots of generals, with Lannes being the worst offender, that need to be trained and given speciality items for which i need lots of medals. I have previously seen that experienced players could fully upgrade Berthier in 3 days which is ridiculously impressive. Can you guys please share how you were able to farm the most amount of medals per day. Many thanks.

Maybe Battle of Trafalgar autoplay or the massive conquest farming setup?
I don't focus on farming, just keep playing for fun and the medals will start to roll in before long.

Me too I restarted for fun over a month ago, aiming for the all princess line up. xD Lately I been in Battle of Three Emperors so far I have 724 medals . I like to spend them on the Tavern. So far it's looking good so far since I'm not taking the Trafalgar route.

I have heard that it is an amazing mission for farming replays. 2. Scharnhorst is a great choice imo. Give him an oakwheel and he’ll move three hexes, has accurate on grouchy, and also artillery trainer if you feel buying him was a mistake. He has isabella’s output as well, and her movement minus geography.

I found a kind of good method. In the battle of trafalgar, you can take advantage of the boosted morale that occurs from turn 3 to the end of turn 5. In this small time span alone, you can take advantage of the huge sum of medals you earn. It also allows gives enough time for the enemy to fully kill one of your generals that would normally be to the right of Nelson with the flag. If you equip them with a snair drum and maybe even a ship defense item, he will be able to deal a lot of damage and earn many medals in that small time span.

My nelson is the one to the right. You can use Kate, Victoria, or literally anyone else in his position. It gets me around 5 medals in like 30 seconds. Similarly, you could also fool around with the double debuff that occurs turn 14. If your save is lucky, you will find yourself in a position in which you are surrounded by the enemy ships. If you have a relatively strong general, he or she can kill waves upon waves in those 2 turn time span in the blink of an eye. Unfortunately, this method is a bit tedious and requires micromanagement, but it is the fastest method imo.

Lately I been luring Kutuzov out into the open so Prussia can just sit there and not move. . I can maybe earn 17 medals even if I lose Napoleon. 2. I WAS looking forward to Scharnhorst (I didn't have him the last time) and the Trafalgar method. But now it'll have to wait, my HQ and progress just got erased this morning. 😕

He never dies. But It should start getting easier. Sorry to hear that man. Good luck on your progress

Lol I saw my saved campaigns it's still there. >>>> Usually I upgrade Milan and Munich to level 6 . Start spamming grenadier at round 3. Send Napoleon and them straight for Brunn and make a retreat from round 7. I leave too early he changes direction sometimes bargration is his with him. But that's how I figure it work. I did however find this technique might add a round or two. [ url=https://ibb.co/V3Sb0hp] [/url]

This method works best with cavalry generals, but it's doable with pretty much anyone:
1. Find a small country in conquest mode that you can play without doing too much for 50-100 turns, in order to allow the big boys to spam trash (I used Naples 1809).
2. Find a group of 6-7 enemies in close proximity and whittle them down to low-mid health.
3. Have a double armored car on hand
4. Save game
5. Equip a general and mow them all down
6. Rinse and repeat.

OR just play as the Imperial Eagle faction in 1806. You've the Prusso-Russian spam if you move too slowly.

Just play as a small nation and deploy you elite forces. There is a problem though. Most of the time the Coalition just bulids defensives on the Rhine and doesn't move any units

The missions so early in campaign are no general missions. They even start almost without any usable units to put generals For this reason I prefer campaign missions for grinding - just deploy your general on a critical save. My advice: Battle of Eylau
