What about surprise attack on cavalry? The further the cavalry move, the higher the damage cavalry will deal. Murat and Dabrowski have this skill and I play them around this skill, but not before upgrading cav commander, plain fighting and precision strike first though. Dunno how much damage it adds tho, but it's useful in certain situations. Up to 20%(5 tiles), down to 8%(not moving) when maxed out.

That's quite great, 8% damage, although a bit low at first, will eventually stack up the damage, especially when hitting cities and generals.

Sorry for the late post as I have to deal with many Chinese New year things. Storm fortifications/tunnels Incrase additional damage by 5/7/10/15/20 when using artillery/infantry to attack city defence.
While this skill make our jourdan the only free gens that can make it end game material. As city defence are always been a thorns to us in many scenario. Like in conquest you need to deal with many big city like berlin,Milan,Paris and istanbul and what's worst is there is fort around these city(notoriously the fort in Istanbul!!! It block the only way to Istanbul by land) with this skill. You can really have a easy life in conquest. Good general that have this skill:jourdan, Napoleon, messena, garbradi
Cover 5/6/7/8/9/10%chances to reduce damage by 50% in land operations. While this skill is two times of ambush but it need the same percentage as ambush to activate it. And what Friedrich “Fried Rice” Paulus say is so true. It never activate in my entire playthrough.so this skill is really trash Good gens that have this skill Gneisesnau.
Kutuzov does have cover.

Surprised attack. The further the cavalry move, the cavalry damage the cavalry deal.
Thanks Erich von Manstein for giving the formula. As the formula show that at max level, the damage of cavalry will increase damage by 8% even without moving! So this skill is really good and awesome. And I really appreciate what easytech have done here, cavalry are supposed to roam around and attack enemy when that is a chance and give enemy a surprise. Although in end game and Challenges like Crimean war make this skill unable to achieve its full potential. It is still a good skill. Good general that have this skill:Murat, dabrowski,Padget, phlip
And that's all skill analysis EW6 done! Thank you everyone for been patient, and give many opinions about my judgement about some of the skill.

For some reason this whole time , I thought Napoleon had the skill Tactics . Sometimes it just looks that way, supposedly. As he seemed to be moving twice everytime he gave me a beating in campaign mode. Falsen use to do the same thing when he was on artillery. Was moving twice part of the counterattack maneuver?
