Because I want the best for my generals (yes, they fight for me so hard ). I just max my Caesar, Mithri not yet and he has to wait long time. Polybius tells us an interesting story Hannibal was a refuge in the Seleucid Kingdom. It was right before the battle of Magnesia. Antiochus, the Seleucid King has decided to impress his famous guest and organised a military parade. There were all famous units of the whole Seleucid Empire: Companion cavalry - the elite royal guard since the days of Alexander, famous elite Phalanx pikemen Argyraspides (Silver shield pikemen), heavily armored cataphracts from Armenia, each of them wearing a massive gold ring etc. In his excitement Antiochus said to Hannibal: "Do you see it? Isn't it enough for these Roman farmers?". Hannibal replied: "Oh, I personally think that it is more than enough... But, on a second thought, these Romans are very, very greedy" After several days Seleucids were crushed at the battle of Magnesia and indeed Antiochus had to pay more Moral of the story : Wait a few centuries before parading your elite units, and maybe a century more to make sure Rome is no more.

stoic, Seger, as You know ET games are not only about raw damage, but fast mission completion as well. I have Arminius, don't buy him I bought him. Used him for a day or more then sold him.

I was planning on getting him. Regardless, the amount of medals you lost is 6*5 (30) which isn’t a big deal. Why is he bad?

His attributes ain’t what I seek I Guess. I Guess it depends on your playstyle. I sold him and bought Anthony and he is doing very well on my team atm.

Indeed, if your cavalry is a damage dealer, and you move fast light Infantry, for example, to take cities - he might be an interesting option. All that depends on the playing style...

Really for cavarly, the competition is arminius vs anthony. Why not get them both. Anthony is so fast that once he gets wounded, he’ll have no issue getting to the nearest stable. Arminius on the otherhand can fight for a while.

And I agree. The mobility on archers is horrendous.

With the fog of war and end of movement if enemy spotted, archers (glass cannons) with highest mobility could be a problem. Especially if they face elite enemy infantry legions.

I Have Arminius and he's growing savage (he takes very few damage with a good shield) . Imagine him with Scipio.....you'll have offensive and defensive capabilities (in reality Scipio ain't only defensive , he's kinda bulky when he attacks; that jerk of Juljas says Scipio, mah boi isn't effective... I bet Juljas has never played GCR).

I had antony before him and I’m considering selling him as well. He doesnt feel like he adds a whole lot to the team :/

Although stoic probably plans to not send them immediately to the fray. He may be a mad man, but he's a creative one

But all that being said, yes he is quite great. He is a good meatshield. All of his 5/5 skills are quite good. The difference between Scipio and Arminius is really not that big in contrast.

No wait I changed my mind. Huo is only better than scipio if you give him the laurel ring. Otherwise they are essentially equal, maybe even scipio is slightly better.
