Pacorus is still a good one to keep. If you find yourself in need for another infantry the choice is usually made between Crassus, Vercingetorix, and Bato, depending on your playing style. Gerd von Rundstedt 's opinion is rather unique in this forum so I'd advise you to evaluate his suggestion carefully (of course, you should evaluate mine as well). Vercingetorix and Bato both has great survivability yet Vercingetorix is slow and Bato lacks output. Crassus isn't good at human-to-human combat but is very effective in attacking cities. I'm not quite sure how well has your commander developed, but Pacorus can certainly do with some improvement (I'm not telling you to sell him, he can still be good as a second cavalry), with Antony and Arminius being the top favorites. Antony can make a lucky second attack (thus high damage dealing potential) but is a bit squishy, while Arminius is more balanced between offense and defense. Note that Antony is exceptionally fast as well. Thanks! I'll probably go with either arminius or crassus or vercingy. Antony is a bit too hit or miss for me. Verc is a good buy, but a bit too tanky by my standards. You know my opinion on Crassus, and Arminius, though good, is inferior to Huo and Scipio. There's also the almost universally despised Antony lite, Wei. |

lincolnkrynz, They generally understand EasyTech traditional mechanichs, I assume they're not just play GCR but other EasyTech games as well. I've played many EasyTech games and most of them doesn't have much distinction in terms of mechanics and gameplay. You also have to invest a lot of hours into strategy games especially if you're F2P to understand the game well.

I buy pompey first then Pacorus. He is still my main damage dealer even tho his damage is like stock market price. Then I sell pacorus for huo (He can hits hard but sometimes also he hits like wet noodle) then mithirades VI (same like Pompey Stock market price damage). I"mean planning next for Belisarius and Sertorius. I think that Belisarius is better than both arminius and Anthony While Sertorius is better than Crasus.

IMO Belisarius, then a cheap Archer like Dolabella, Cleo, or Pedius (assuming you make your commander infantry), then Pompey.

For someone still going for this thread for the general guide, since it is outdated (where re you Deleted), this is a general guide I can recommend you. Doesnt matter which commander role you have. General route: Pacorus - Belisarius - Drusus - Pompey (you can have pompey first if you have archcom) - Mithridates - any general you want, on which is already listed here. for all the items list and others, there are some links in the library so check that out. |
