I still rate EW4. The last time I completed F2P my final team was all princesses. Fun game. Only reason I don't play it anymore is because it lacks a cloud save feature.

Yeah you have to repay for even the new slots not to mention new iaps. Plus the conquest was pretty boring overall in ew4. Just the generals were very overpowered

Conquest was really easy, since the ai isn't that smart

Friedrich “Fried Rice” Paulus , I think you missed ambush. Also I would put the master talents in the S tier. If you compare talents to the price of items, inspire (crown) costs around 250 I recall; geography (gallic war) costs less than 200, yet scepter costs over 500 plus the cost to bring the general up to consul. Auras are still extremely powerful just for the fact that they buff units arounds them. 15% attack could make a lot of difference when 3 of your cavalry units along with Hannibal are surrounding and killing an objective general. Geography is also super overrated because the only general that has geography also has march (not a bad thing of course, but very misleading). Antony is so mobile because of the combination of geography and march. This is hard to explain, but, if Hannibal had geography, in most cases he would be slower than Antony with march and without geography. In context, Friedrich “Fried Rice” Paulus , this is why you don't feel like Gallic War is too useful. Military map would be better than Gallic War in most scenarios. Hopefully that made sense. edit: Dolabella has geography too, but I think no one would consider him just for his talent

Friedrich “Fried Rice” Paulus, you also missed brave, Wei, Lucullus, and Orodes' talent. It increases critical rate by 15% when attacking enemy who has a larger force (description in ios). Ace was missed too. It increases experience gained in combat. Brutus and Mandrubracius also have navigation, where terrain doesn't affect movement while at sea (utterly useless). Gannicus and Crixius have trophy, in which there is a 10% chance to gain resources after destroying an enemy.

Geography is a pretty good talent, but not the best as an item. I would be willing to sacrifice the tactics or master skills for it. I don’t think its fair to compare the price of items that they replace. We would all not mind having more laurel crown’s to give to all of our generals, but there only is one. That’s like saying that. For the auras, I am still very confused. I believe that it is not actual 15% buff for them, but in actuality like 10 (from reading somewhere in the thread), as they buff the units damage, not with the unit + general’s ability.

Good catch my friend, I’ll get right on it.
