I am still a but confused about it. I did put Garrison in D and I think that that is a way better talent, especially on cavarly generals. As I test with Sertorius in campaign, when triggered, it permanently add 1, not 100%, to the defense of the unit. So maybe it’s decent in conquest, but short of medals not allow me to just hire someone to test in conquest. Nevertheless, I think no matter this talent decent or not, there’s only one useful general that afford it, Labienus, and he’s not good for defending. I have to edit my Thread of Rating generals using “medal standard system” as this talent isn’t equal to the item Fasces of power really? Well it looks like I am using the defence formula wrongly. Or maybe like this:it increase defence by 100% for that round and plus 1 defence permanently. Just a wild thought.after all it about having fun

So does Seratorius get 1 point of defense every time that his talent triggers for the rest of the mission/conquest?

So does Seratorius get 1 point of defense every time that his talent triggers for the rest of the mission/conquest? IMO, this Talent feels like EW4's Defense Art which triggers during an enemy attack and increases defence of the unit. It's like Shield Wall, but universal.

Tell me If the effects are permanent As in check his Def before his skill activates and after it activates? I'll get ready because he is leading an attack on the Bosphoran Kingdom to flank Dacia. We'll see how it goes.

I'll get ready because he is leading an attack on the Bosphoran Kingdom to flank Dacia. We'll see how it goes. And check his defense right before you end the conquest. See if its the same, or if it is significantly higher than before

Right after the experiment has started. Context: The King during the Armenian invasion of the Bosphorus Kingdom. Right after the Talent Sentry triggers during player's turn. It triggers in response to the enemy's counterattack. Context: During the invasion of of Crimea (aka the Bosphorus Kingdom) and the attack on Skythia. Right after Sentry triggers for the second time during the experiment on a player turn. This is also in response to the enemy's counterattack after the King attacked first. Context: Either during the invasion of Skythia or the invasion of Dacia. The King on the last turn of August's Time Armenia Conquest.

IMO, I really think that this is Shield Wall, but universal and in Talent form, aka Defense Art from EW4.

IMO, I really think that this is Shield Wall, but universal and in Talent form, aka Defense Art from EW4. The king of armenia starts out at defense 17, but is at defense 20 on yours. That means it doesn’t stack, but is more or less permanent damage reduction throughout the entire game. Not bad but not great

Enemy's status while playing as the Sugambri. If possible, can someone play as Parthia and check out his starting stats?

I tried to play with Seratorius in the campaings and when the ability trigered defense value stayed the same. So I think the skill works like shield wall but no one knows how much defense it raises.
