Hi all,
Ive read the forum and saw a lot of you save up for guderian. However, is it really efficient to do so?
I can buy vatutin and govorov for the price of guderian. Unless im on my way for the 6th general slot, I don't see why i should fork out 3350 medals for a general who is quicker and a little stronger than vatutin? Or am i missing something important?
Please enlighten me with your thoughts. I dont want to make a wrong turn and reinstall the game like last time.
Cheers

It's highly recomended to get Guderian he is the best non paid general in game. Your crew should consist from Guderian, Yamamoto, Vatutin, Badoglio etc. As I said it's not obligation it's recomendation.

It depend on how much you struggle to progress your game. As for me, 3 eye-covered dudes and some cheap generals are enough so I did save up directly for Guderian. But for some, buying Govorov, Badoglio, or Vatutin to help for the progress is a good idea because, as you mention, two of these are more useful than Guderian alone. However, if you are aiming for a perfect line up, in the end you probably have to sell Vatutin or Badoglio for generals like Patton, Rommel, Konev, etc, and this is less efficient than saving directly for Guderian because the medals are not fully refunded.
In conclusion, it's up to your preference.

Trust me I thought the same thing as you when I had those 3350 medals. I did buy him afterall and try him out on Iran 1960... He alone made the conquest shorter by 15 rounds even though he got nuked in the 20th.

I don't think Guderian is necessary (or compulsory) I bought Vatutin I might just upgrade his health and be happy with him, though I will farm (alot, that is) to get the rest like Göring and others, so like kanue said, its up to your preference
