I won a conquest as Belgium in 1914 (I'll make a guide later, it was too inconsistent). And here's my thoughts on how the conquest played out.
- There are some scripted waves of units that pop out of nowhere. Germany gets free units in the water somewhere around turn 20. And Ottomans get some near Portugal way later in the game. - Belgium is not as hard as it looks. Germany doesn't start in the war from turn 1. So you can delay them to turn 6 when Britain and France has got their act together. - Russia is not a strong ally. They get completely rekt by Austria-Hungary, Germany and the Ottomans. You can't count on them. - Balkans is massively tipped in the favor of the central powers. Serbia is facing Austria-Hungary alone since their allies join very late and usually dies before turn 10. Bulgaria starts out with a lot of generals and is the strongest "small" country in the Balkans. Ottomans wrecks Greece with Bulgaria. And Montenegro and Romania join when all their allies are dead. - Italy gets rekt by the Ottomans, Bulgaria and Austria-Hungary. - Germany is not the strongest central power because they have an extreme population overload. Their income is literally 0 in every category to begin with. - Austria-Hungary is the hardest country to beat and possibly the strongest central power. They have a really strong economy that isn't crippled by a massive population overload, some powerful generals like Hotzendorf, some dangerous units like Air Gun Soldiers and Hungarian Hussars, and are massively supported on every front they have. I've seen them go all the way to Moscow. - Ottomans is probably also pretty hard to beat. I haven't played in Balkans or as Russia so idk. - France is your best ally. They don't get distracted by random german units from nowhere like Britain and has some very good generals and units. - Portugal is a very good ally. They wreck Tribal union and provide a lot of support once they have time.
So yeah, this is on the entente side. It's probably completely different on the central powers side.

I played as Italy and the Austro-Hungarian Empire is a nightmare, they were successfully defending against all of my allies until I took Vienna. Germany was useless and got man-handled by Russia, but the Ottomans were destroying the Russians. The Ottomans were extremely difficult also, they spam a ton of troops into the Balkans. I’m not sure how much the computer varies during each play through, but it was very challenging. The only solid ally I had was France.

I have not played the game but I have seen videos. about the game and Britain seems easy, since you start with a massive fleet and apparently you don't have many fronts, it may also have a good economy and seems difficult to invade as in 1806.

Really my only qual is some units. Particularly Britain's Green Jacket Riflemen. Using muskets. In 1914. Other than that I find it a pretty decent conquest

1914 conquest... The only one in which I haven't found auto-able country YET.

I find the conquests in this game much more difficult than past ones. I've tried tons of countries, and it may be because I have starter gens and am on chapter 3, or even that I'm bad but, it appears much more difficult than past EW games.

Austria and Ottoman have cheesy Russian Fronts and most of the time the hardest parts come in invading portugal and britain Austria had a much harder France compared to the Ottomans though

Playing with german empire in 1914 needs at least chapter 4-5 tech, and it’s just blitzing the french. Disadvantage is you have an overload of population, so at first, it will be hard, but after you defeat france everything will go under your control. (Only my thoughts, i guess)

I played Ottoman, here are my thoughts, -Steamrolling Balkan countries is easy. Super easy. -Russia is pretty strong at first, but will collapse once Germany and Austria gain enough donation. -Austria MVP provided you give money. -Germany sucks, you have to support them with lots of money. -I swear if I have 100 nukes, I'all drop them all in Britain. They're the worst of the worst. -Tribal Union isn't as weak as it seems. They steamrolled France in Africa and Portugal. They helped me beat those pesky Englishmen.

And I played Austria-Hungary.
- The three balkan countries have no chance. - Russia isn’t that hard. They’re focusing on Germany which means that you can eat them up. - Italy is really easy and your navy can really go to town on them. - Germany can’t do their job. - Britain is the worst - Tribal Union can spam super hard provided you give them money and industry because their units have really low pop cost.

I played Italy and it is weirdly easy. Germany of course, failed to expand and get annihilated by France and Russia. Austria-Hungary is an interesting one, normally when I play other country Austria-Hungary will destroy Serbia and all the balkans, then team up with Ottoman to fight Russia. So I attack and capture Vienna fast and what happen is when Austria-Hungary is weakened, Ottoman seems to fall too. Russia help me destroy Ottoman and some part of Austria-Hungary. Tribal Union... as you know, get rolled by Portugal. I end up getting 200k+ points, if you want the street fighting medal then this country is the best country to do.

So if you play as Germany, (Provided that you are powerful with good tech and generals), the Central Powers will have a much bigger advantage than usual?

So if you play as Germany, (Provided that you are powerful with good tech and generals), the Central Powers will have a much bigger advantage than usual? Most likely. Germany starts out with an army worth ~260 pop and can probably steamroll France and Russia if a competent player with good tech and generals plays as them. The AI has no idea what they're doing though so that army is just a liability for them.
