The medal cost though, as a F2P player, and after the new update I only managed to grind until 100 medals today, and I have completed all the new achievements. Bismarck would be a better choice as I have 300000 gold

Yep. There are far less good french generals than there are good austrian generals. Come to think of it, what if we don’t get to use macmahon as you don’t get to use Mackensen in the austro prussian war Very unlikely that we can se macmahon, he died before ww1 . Tbh he isn't that good anyways He starts off good with no textbooks. He can be made very good with even only 5 textbook investment. |

Galwitz is far better than burnside though. Burnside’s damage average with a kugelspritz and count rank is in the mid 50s - 60s. If you want a free long term infantry general, galwitz, macarthur or falkenhayn are the only options.
