He has the potential to be the best defensive inf general. ET games focus on attacking , not defending, but the weakness of infantry in ew6 1914 cause a lot of trouble for me. An inf general should be a kind of glass canon, or be a tanky meatshield. Thinking of changing his skill: counter attack/cover -> alert, or counter attack/cover -> revenge, or maybe jungle fighting -> revenge. He originally has the perfect balance skill set, so it would be a hard choice.

haven't really upgraded this guy much, but he's very solid on an lmg, not far from my moderately upgraded Straußenburg. a solid 2nd inf gen, also handy for history mode. serves well for the main purpose of an inf gen for me: do lots of dmg to other infantry/cavalry while spearheading attacks, and guard arty.

Same, but he is extremely useful when Straussenburg dies for me because he is the only alternative I have left. I used him in a Light Infantry or whatever the Tier 3 unit is in Franco-Prussian War, but he helped me get through the Campaign Challenge version of it. |

Pretty good. 5th best infantry for a great price. Swap Jungle for Revenge or TM.
