Who is this guy and why is he so overpowered This game makes people/nations that were read at real life good for some reason. George McClellan and Hotzendorf were both bad military commanders. But in this game, they are among the best generals of their respective classes. IRL, Austria-Hungary never took Serbia, they resisted fiercely. But in this game, Serbia 1914 is one of the hardest conquest because the Austro-Hungarians send an entire army after you and cut through Serbia like butter. |

But in this game, they are among the best generals of their respective classes. IRL, Austria-Hungary never took Serbia, they resisted fiercely. Austria-Hungary is actually stronger than Germany here. |

Agreed about hotzendorf. Odd that luigi cadorna isn’t like murat in this game. But I do have to say that doug haig was a very respectable commander during ww1 imo. Seems like he had a huge role in the defeat of germany during the conflict

I would love to do a “Thanos what did it cost” meme but that’s too cringy for this board. |

I'd have to say that he may lose some value but will still be top 3. He doesn't require any textbooks because all his skills are amazing allowing you to focus on perfecting another general and he can be the aura general. The 2 star review is a bit harsh considering all he has done for us  |

Unless you want to sacrifice Mccellan’s emperor rank, several textbooks, and tons of gold in order to have a mccellan equivalent with tactics master or surprise (Joffre and Stepanovic are the only ones that may replace McCellan), I’d probably say McCellan is still going to be safe after the update. I’d probably say that he will be a version of Dabrowski not capped by duke on your team, with Sidney Johnston and Stonewall Jackson being the heavy hitters. He’ll still aboslutely wreck anything he touches. At most, he falls from a 5/5 stars to a 4.7/5 stars. Honestly, no one even comes close to this guy. |
