Is it a good idea to turn McClellan into Frunze 2.0 by adding Pierce, Surprise Attack, and Cavalry expert. I don't care about textbooks at all. Ah well, but he starts so close to Ludendorff wouldn't it be wiser to leave all his skills the way they are? That or swap cav commander for surprise

McClellan is good for sure but what really lets him down is his starting attack. combining cavalry and general attack is 24%. That is pretty bad for a purple tier general. If he was at 27-28% dmg starting out I wouldn't have sold him for Sidney Johnston. For beginners he is very good but now that plummer exists McClellan is mediocre at endgame and in later middle game cuz you usually should have maxed some of your generals by then and maxing McClellan will give him the damage of a slightly higher than normal attack of a gold tier general.
