Very easily fixable with 5 textbooks True.I chose Plummer for the sake of longer terms Very smart. Since mccellan is needed for history mode, it is also equally smart to get him then sell him for Plummer is my logic. Its better than to waste your resources on junk like meade and burnsides (how the heck can you deal only 50 damage when you have assualt at lvl 4 and the kugelspritz).

Right. We can save the medpacks and COINS..I believe coins will be running up if i were to upgrade my tech to my current campaign

Mccellan is still great as he has 3 ideal skills and is very handy in history mode. Hotzendorf is not fantastic as he needs jungle and mountain as opposed to mccellan who just needs jungle. Furthermore, mccellan has a higher max title.

True.He has the edge on history mode but we won't be needing him afterwards unless you treasure his four skill slots like moltke.Moltke is worth it because he's free at the 1st place.I would pick my generals carefully.Hotzendorf still is able to do his job as well as my expectation despite his original skillset. That's where I find my value in him.

Can anyone suggest me a general line. I have currently 2-2-3-1. I have 3 top tier arty, best 2 infantry, Stonewall Plumer and David Beatty. I have McClellan and Moltke but I don't use them. Should I use McClellan or ignore as I already have a good general set.

Should I use McClellan or ignore as I already have a good general set. If we had a traditional ET grinding system I would say keep McClellan. But now we can hire/dismiss generals without any slightest problem and cover all our expenses in a day or two. Therefore the rule of thumb in EW 1914is: a general with 5 skills is better than a general with 4 skills. I don't like this rule at all and I always liked to make use of silver tier generals in my ET history (Drusus and Labienus in GCR, Barclay, Lannes and John in EW 1806, Vatutin in all GoG and WC games). But now we can hire and upgrade our generals so easily that I don't see any reason not to do so, especially if we can replace a good general with a better one. But, of course, you should dismiss McClellan only if you don't plan to replay 2 first American battles in the History mode.

So no need to discard of mccellan if you have him.

Is it a good idea to turn McClellan into Frunze 2.0 by adding Pierce, Surprise Attack, and Cavalry expert. I don't care about textbooks at all.
