The game is simply becoming too unstable on the Android platform. I have already suffered the full uncommanded reset; now it's blinking and doing stupid visual things on startup, and constantly crashing. I am awaiting with dread the day when it fails on my Kindle Fire as well. In addition, I hit a roadblock with the last two princesses and the gameplay is more repetitive than I can take when compared with other things I play. It was great fun while it lasted, one of the most enjoyable games I've ever played, and I may yet dabble with it on the Kindle Fire until the tablet fails or its version of EW 4 does; but in terms of serious effort the time has come to bid it farewell. You guys are great fun and very helpful, and it was good getting to know you all on the EW4 journey. I may pop back in here from time to time, especially if they ever fix the stability issues and institute a separate save file to prevent loss of progress when the app ****s itself. Until then, I will see you all on the European War SIX sub-forums.

If such problems are occurring, then it's a tragic and inevitable end.
As long as you had fun and do not regret the time invested, it's all okay in the end.
Have fun with EW6, which ever version you are playing.

Have fun with EW6, which ever version you are playing. No regrets at all. I even played about fifty turns of EW4 as Naples in conquest mode last night just for the hell of it. No save-load, no princess-run pressure, just reliving the good old days. The only downside this Kindle Fire version has is the 99 turn limit, but it's stable as hell (touch wood!) and I've still got all my stuff even after months of not playing it. I might accidentally have rekindled my interest - but there's still no way in hell I'm pushing myself to finish anything. That way leads to madness.

Sad to read you are leaving EW4 Roadblock?? But you arrived to unlock Lan - right? Have a good time I did not get Victoria or Lan. I decided it is not worth stressing myself out to try. I will play the game from time to time with the princesses and generals that I have, but I will no longer attempt to complete all the campaigns or get the last two princesses. I want it still to be fun on those occasions when I desire to play it at all.

Interesting to listen this from a experienced player - I just start this game this year and I thought to run my second conquest to get Lan - now I know that this is much too ambitious - thank you and enjoy

I'm saying it was too ambitious FOR ME. There are plenty of guides about on how to do it, if you are fresh enough to the game and enthusiastic to succeed. Is Antonio Luna still around? His guide was one of the best.

I tried the 1812 GB and with the briefing of antonioluna I got in the first try 25 Rounds 800/600 Jears and Kate/Lan

How do you enjoy EW6? Anyway - thank you a lot (Lan is - after small training - really nice) and enjoy!!!q

If you think the game crashes at startup on Android (Main menu of EW - later freezing): At this point the game is asking for Google-Services - on my low end telephone it takes up to two minutes! At this point the game seems to be crashed but it's not (not responding - grayed screen - music stopped) - I just wait (normally more than 100sec!) - playing offline speeds up starting but you won't get your dayly reward

I'm leaving EW4 soon too because it's finished for me - just the final battle and 4 lost stars are left - I even picked up Elizabeth for this battle. I want to encourage you to just to try at least the GB1812 for Lan it is not a roadblock and thanks to you I picked her in midgame up. CU in EW6

To pick up Lan and Kate with GB1812 is easy and thanks for pathdocs hint I read the guide of Antonio Luna - with this knowledge it was so easy to pick up Lan - I play my strategy - but to be informed helps a lot. It's like the tip not to worry for Poland in HRE, it's making success so much easier. Running for Victoria and Lan in one is Imo - special at early stage in the game - much more difficult than picking up Lan from the US conquest. So if you are missing both: try just the US no specific needs - and with Lan Sakurako and Isabella to get Victoria is no longer a problem - I almost wait too long for the single conquests and the tip of pathdoc was great
