It doesn't seem like this is a common problem. Since it happened to you twice, I think it's a good idea to download a new version.

ππ³π°π΅π΄π¬πΊ , On the same device, actually, but it's never caused problems with any of my other apps. Maybe I'll come back after a short break. But no more purchases, with medals or otherwise. Strictly the starting generals and whatever tavern generals I can unlock. Then it doesn't matter what I lose. I uninstalled, so that next time I try this it will be with a clean install in case there was a bug in the previous one. Sad Have you played 1806 ? At least you never have to play HRE when you give it another try. Maybe your version was really buggy, a pity.

ππ³π°π΅π΄π¬πΊ, I liked HRE. Easy access to everywhere. I also uninstalled EW 6. Try as I might, I could never get used to it. If only EW4 had EW6's cloud-save capability, it wouldn't have mattered how many times it *Auto Corrected* itself.

pathdoc, after your first accident I searched for a way to backup the EW4 save. I tried different ways, but for now, I have no solution that won't require root to access the save. I just started modding EW4 and when I am more experienced I try to move the Game-Data to the accessible Storage to allow backups. (This will take time) Did you play 1806 conquests? My Ottoman conquest was already good - France too easy, to get Victoria up to round 38 a joke.

This is the right conquest to get Victoria, not HRE, I believe now. The economy (π§) is in 1806 so strong that 38 rounds are fast enough to get Victoria! I just did a test-run, but I'm sure that I can even finish faster France06 than all of my HRE attempts. With generals, that's a difference.

ππ³π°π΅π΄π¬πΊ , I reinstalled the game but this time I'm definitely just playing for fun with cheap, nearly useless generals (e.g. their only skill is Architecture or Logistics or something like that). That way, if I lose anything I can get it back immediately, even with a complete reset. No more Princess runs, no more expensive generals, no more Berthier or Arnold... just good, clean conquest fun with starter and tavern generals, the way I should have done it last time. I REALLY don't want to stop playing the game, but I'm tired of building my roster and arsenal up and then losing it again. This way I will remain happy.

You downloaded the latest version - good.
Easy play - staying happy - enjoy!
... there even nice tavern generals - I just started to use them, and was amazed that some, even come with items.
Buying creepy generals (without trainer skill) don't pays out - better without them! Spend instead a few (not many!!) medikits in your conquests - this helps A Lot!!! Not Kollowrat.
Let's hope that with the new version you never encounter problems anymore. ππ½
Without playing the campaign progress runs are extremely hard:
Instead of 3001π§ with 235 or more campaign -- without campaign you need almost 5900π§!
Lan's asian campaign bonus, adds up to 125 years with 411+β

If you find this post, it will be a great help to add this necessary information in the conquests reference [/a] Only the first three ages Ive done for now, but I will complete the compleye reference. I just bought Kutzaisov, to see: with his gaiters he has 4 movement - This is an essential information - I need to add this. If you find your thread this will be a nice help - I'm constantly updating my old posts to reflect all my findings - at the moment 1806: 1806 - is for me now, the easier (faster, small map) most generals are waek, and the best: with the 1806 Industry Victoria is absolutely NOT a speed run - R38 not R31

Wow - this is great! Nice work. All missing information.... perfectly structured. I would like to set links from the 1798 taverns in the reference. It will be great if you can edit and add anchors for the generals. To add an anchor (Exp Mercer), please add in the empty line before each general the bbc-code [a name="1798mercer"][/a] If you don't mind and I can direct sublink to your general description we can add the missing info for the 1798 conquest reference - I actually planned and think about how to collect! and structure this important additional informations - you did it all pathdoc - and very nice!

Sad to see someone with such experience leaving the game. I unknowingly quoted him in other threads, expecting a reply from him. Easytech should work on a save file for one of it's best games.

I stuck around in the end because EW6 was less intuitive, but after having multiple uncommanded progress wipes, I am never speedrushing for princesses again and I will not attempt to finish the campaigns.

The last one: Rounds an years I just started, because of my (unplanned) Wallachia 09 conquest. Inspired by pathdoc 's european-war-4.boards.net/thread/13631/notes-small-nations-wallachia-1809 Thank you for all ! Have a great '21 ! Keep on ! and enjoy !
