Ah, this game. I love it so much. Ive just started a game as Portugal in 1861 and I've puppeted Transvaal and the Oranje Free State, taken states away from Morocco and Zanzibar, colonized the rest of Angola and Mozambique, and created a protectorate over Brunei. Its now approaching 1870, meaning that the Scramble for Africa is afoot. Im hoping to be able to connect my colonies of Angola and Mozambique before Britain gets her grimy hands on it and try to take as much of Africa as possible. Im also hoping to colonize the rest of Borneo and maybe some other pacific islands. The game has just started, and anything goes.

I would, but i want to take over some areas like Oman or Zulu first, plus idk if they have any good allies because they are a great power. |

Remove Ottomans please. First goal of any paradox game. Why? Ottomans are kinda op, so its a goal of eu4 at least to destroy them. Its like beating France. |

UPDATE:
The Portuguese Colonial Empire now reigns supreme in Eastern and Southern Africa. While the French, British, Austrian, Belgian and Spanish Empires fight for dominance of West Africa, we have successfully taken land from Namibia to the southern border of the Sudan, thus preventing any real attempt of foreign colonization of the rest of Eastern and Southern Africa. We have also taken over Oman, and turned it into a protectorate to gain colonial points. Despite all this great news, however, the colonization of Borneo ended in complete failure, facing defeat to the Dutch and Spanish Empires. We also created a protectorate over Malaysia to, again, gain more colonial points. Despite this epic failure, we still have power over Malaysia, East Timor, Goa and Macau in Asia.
